Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts various Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of CWE Specialist Officers,CWE PO/MT,CWE Clerical,CWE RRBs through Common Recruitment Process(CRP).We are going to explain examination scheme or pattern of Clerical cadre Posts.
IBPS CWE Clerk Examination Pattern
The examination is conducted online in two stages ,first is Preliminary Examination and second is Main Examination.The questions will be MCQ type for both examinations (Pre & Main)

Candidates must qualify in each section of the three tests by securing cut-off marks decided by IBPS.
Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for online Main examination.

Note:The above tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi
Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination)
There will be penalty of one fourth or 0.25 of the marks for each wrong answer . The total penality marks will be deducted to arrive at corrected score. If candidates skipped the question without answering there will be no penalty for that question.
